Refund Policy

TL;DR. 7-day no-questions-asked refund on your first paid month. After that, refunds are pro-rated case-by-case. Consumed AI credits are not refundable. EU consumers keep their 14-day statutory right of withdrawal.

1. The 7-day window (first subscription only)

If you signed up for any paid plan (Lite, Pro, or Power) for the first time within the last 7 days — monthly or annual — you can get a full refund, no questions asked.

To request it, email [email protected] from the address on your account with the word refund in the subject line. We process refunds within 3 business days; Stripe usually returns funds to your card within 5–10 business days after that.

The 7-day window only applies to a user's first paid subscription. Re-subscriptions are not eligible for the no-questions-asked path (but may still qualify for the discretionary refunds below).

2. EU and UK consumers — 14-day right of withdrawal

If you are a consumer in the EU or UK, you have a 14-day right to withdraw from any new subscription under the EU Consumer Rights Directive / UK Consumer Contracts Regulations. By starting to use the AI Teacher within the 14-day window, you expressly request immediate provision of digital service and acknowledge that your right of withdrawal ends once consumption begins. We will refund the unconsumed portion.

3. After the 7-day window

Subscriptions are billed monthly or annually, depending on the plan you chose. Cancellations stop future charges immediately but the current term's payment is non-refundable except in these cases:

4. Account termination by us

If we terminate your account for material breach (fraud, abuse, scraping, sharing credentials), no refund is due. If we terminate for other reasons (e.g. we discontinue the Service), we will refund any unconsumed prepaid time on a pro-rata basis.

5. Chargebacks

Please email us before filing a chargeback. Chargebacks cost us a non-trivial fee and we are very willing to talk first. If you initiate a chargeback without contacting us, we may suspend the associated account pending resolution and will dispute fraudulent chargebacks with evidence.

6. How long refunds take

We process refunds within 3 business days of approval. Once processed, Stripe returns funds to your original payment method, which typically takes 5–10 business days depending on your bank. We can't speed up bank-side processing.
