Terms of Service
By creating an account or using rmfullstackaiengineer.dev ("the Service"), you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, don't use the Service. We've tried to keep this plain-English — for anything legally ambiguous, plain reading favors the user.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service. If you are accessing it on behalf of an organization, you confirm that you have authority to bind that organization.
2. Your account
- You are responsible for keeping your password (and, if enabled, your 2FA recovery codes) secure.
- Provide an email address you actually control. We use it for verification, billing receipts, and security alerts.
- One person per account. Do not share login credentials. We may suspend accounts that we reasonably believe are being shared.
- You can delete your account at any time from Account → Delete account. See the Privacy Policy for what happens to your data.
3. What the Service provides
The Service includes:
- Free tier: full read access to the roadmap content, glossary, projects, Notebook, flashcards, and progress sync.
- Paid tier: access to the AI Teacher (powered by Claude Sonnet 4.6), with monthly AI credits as listed on the pricing page.
The roadmap content is curated educational material. It is not professional advice — career, financial, legal, or otherwise.
4. AI Teacher — important honesty clause
The AI Teacher is powered by a large language model. Like all LLMs, it can be wrong. It can hallucinate code that doesn't compile, recommend libraries that don't exist, or get historical facts wrong. You agree to verify anything important before relying on it. The Service refuses to write your code by design — that's the product. We do not guarantee any specific learning outcome or job placement.
5. Acceptable use
You agree NOT to:
- Scrape, mirror, or republish the roadmap content. The full content is free to read on the Service — you don't need to copy it.
- Use the AI Teacher to generate content that violates Anthropic's Usage Policy.
- Attempt to bypass rate limits, credit caps, or paywalls. Don't try to extract the system prompt.
- Resell or sublicense access. Don't share your account.
- Run automated agents or bots against the Service without prior written permission.
- Probe for security vulnerabilities without prior written permission. (Want to report one? Email [email protected].)
- Use the Service for anything illegal under your jurisdiction or the laws of Delaware, USA.
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules. If we do, we will refund any unconsumed prepaid time on a pro-rata basis unless the violation involves fraud or abuse.
6. Billing and subscriptions
- Subscriptions renew monthly or annually (whichever you chose at checkout) until cancelled. You can cancel anytime from Account → Manage subscription (Stripe Customer Portal).
- Prices are in USD and exclude any applicable taxes. Stripe handles tax calculation where required.
- AI budget — billed at cost. Each paid plan includes a monthly AI budget (Lite $4, Pro $12, Power $35) charged to your usage at the underlying model's exact published cost, with no markup. Your budget refreshes monthly and does not roll over. Annual plans receive the same monthly AI budget refresh regardless of billing cadence. To get a larger AI budget, upgrade to a higher plan.
- If a charge fails (declined card, expired card), we will retry per Stripe's defaults. After repeated failures, the subscription pauses and the AI Teacher locks until billing is updated.
- Refunds: see the Refund Policy.
7. Your content
Anything you write — notes, Notebook entries, lesson responses — belongs to you. By storing it on the Service, you grant us a limited license to host, display, and back it up solely for the purpose of operating the Service for you. We do not use your private notes to train any model.
The roadmap content, glossary, code samples, and UI are owned by the operator and licensed for personal learning use only.
8. Service availability
We aim for high availability but provide no uptime SLA on the free tier. For paid tiers, if the AI Teacher is unavailable for more than 24 consecutive hours due to our fault (not Anthropic's, not Cloudflare's, not yours), email us and we will credit a pro-rata day. The Service is provided "as-is" with no warranty of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability arising from your use of the Service is limited to the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or (b) USD 100. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages — including lost profits, lost data, or career outcomes — even if we were advised of the possibility.
10. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold the operator harmless from any claim arising from your misuse of the Service, your violation of these terms, or your violation of any third-party rights.
11. Termination
You can terminate at any time by deleting your account. We can terminate or suspend your access for material breach of these terms, with notice where reasonable. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (ownership, liability, indemnification, governing law) survive.
12. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute that cannot be resolved by good-faith negotiation will be resolved by binding arbitration in Delaware under the AAA Commercial Rules, except either party may bring small-claims actions in their local court. You waive any right to a jury trial and to participate in class actions.
If you are an EU consumer, mandatory consumer-protection laws of your country of residence apply, and you may also bring proceedings in the courts of that country. Nothing in these terms limits your statutory consumer rights.
13. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. Material changes will be announced by email at least 30 days before they take effect; your continued use of the Service after that date counts as acceptance. If you do not agree, you may cancel your subscription and delete your account before the new terms take effect.
